VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINES FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF BUILDINGS
Keywords:
renewable energy sources, wind turbines, VAWT, lighting systemAbstract
The use of energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources in modern highrise buildings is a requirement of the 21st century. Low power wind generators can be used to power the lighting systems of buildings, as a backup source of elevators. Wind turbines can be used not only to power the lighting system of a multi-story building, but may also be used in the energy supply of houses. This article mentions various small vertical type wind turbines and applications in various buildings.
